Hi all,
I have the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU motherboard, i have noticed that the time and date keep changing. This problem seems to be happening 3 or 4 times a day! This happens mostly when i turn the computer back on. But sometimes it has changed while windows is opperating.
I noticed it in windows when i playing GTA3 and i saved a level it said 17th July, (which is fine) then the next save i did (a few mins later) said 24th May?? When i came out of the game the time was also wrong!
I have just bought this motherboard and tried updating the BIOS to fix this problem but it still persists. It is causing some problems while doing my work. System:
AMD AthlonXP 2000+
MSI KT3 Ultra ARU
MSI GeForce3 Ti200 ProVT 128
Maxtor ATA133 80gb Hard disc
SoundBlaster Live 5.1
external 56k modem
256mb Crucial DDR333 Memory
Pioneer 106s dvd-rom
Mitsumi CD-RW
Windows XP pro
I have cleared the CMOS and am going to change the battery, but its a new mobo surly the bat is ok! What do you guys think? BTW nothing in my system is overclocked, all at default.
