I have an old system which serves my purposes and dont play any games which need alot of processing power but would like to watch VCD/DVD & the odd small game that needs direct X 7.0

The system is 233MMX with 128Mb of ram running windows 98SE and has no AGP so I'm looking at PCI

I am looking to upgrade my 2Mb Graphics card to 8/16/32Mb if I can get one for the right price. Do I have to worry about compatiblity particularly the power supply as I have heard that the better cards need more power?

THe system is AT with a 200 Watt PSU. I currently have running
1 x 1.2Gb Hard Drive
1 x 4.2Gb Hard Drive
1 x ISA Soundcard (Basic so am looking to change this also)
1 x SCSI Card
1 x SCSI CD Writer
1 x Network Card

Any advice would be appreciated (not ditch the system!!!)

thanks

Well cause you got a old system (like mine) and you dont want to get a new one and you dont play games that need very powerful system you can get the Geforce2mx200 32mb pci card!

You wont need a new power supply for the new card. What you have will be enough!

This card will work fine on your system.. If you want a better card you will need to spend more $$$ and get a better motherboard and cpu!!

How much do you want to spend on the card!!!???

let me know!!
