Hi,
Have you checked something as simple as the Scanner is powered up? I had a similar problem with my Scanner and Win 95 I didn't realise that it had an auto power off feature that neededto be set to my own preferences and it caused me some grief at the time.
I hope it turns out to be something simple like that.

yes I turned it on and pluged in the USB cable before I Booted. Thanks for the reply.

Manuf/Model of Scanner?

Do you have any other USB devices installed, if yes what?

If no check to make sure that you have USB Universal Host Controller and USB Root Hub in the Device Manager. You may simply need to activate USB in the BIOS?

Hi, I am trying to install a USB scanner but the plug n play will not run so I tried the add new hardware and still it detect's nothing. Any help?? Thanks.
