I just got that trojan two days ago. First go here (http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/js.seeker.html) and follow the directions on how to remove it. Before you start you should delete your temperary internet files.

This trojan does not mess up your monitor or screen resolutions. That I think might be your monitor messing up. The only thing this trojan does is chenge your IE explore settings, changes your homepage to unwanted porn sites, and then adds a lot of bad sites to your favorites list.

But to me it sounds like the trojan wasn't executed. If you don't have Windows Scripting Host installed then all it will do is sit in your temperay internet files. If it sits in the temperary internet files Norton anti virus won't detect it if you do a full system scan because the virus hides itself as a pop up. All you have to do is go to your activity log, scroll down to when it detected the virus, and go delete the file that it sais is infected by the virus. Then you should be cool.

Go and connect the monitor to another computer and check to see if it works on there computer. If it does your problem could be video card related. Also check to see if the pins on the end of the monitor cable are all straight. Sometimes bent pins will cause the monitor to change colors.

Open up norton anti virus, then click on reports, then click on activity log. scroll down to where it sais the trojan was detected. It should say something like, the JS seeker trojan/virus was found in so-and-so file. Then it should tell you where the file is. Once you find the virus, right click it, and while holding shift click delete. Its that simple. If you can't find the file its because it got delete when, if, you delte temp internet files.

You might have to chsnge your settings so you can see the folder localsettings. To do this go to windows explore, click on tools on the top menu, then click on Folder options, then click on the tab that sais view, and then scroll down until you see hidden files and folders(it should be right on top or close to it) and then click on show hidden files and folders.

I don't know exactly?
There is nothing on the right hand column and when I check its properties it shows zero bytes and zero folders.
