silent click !

Once upon a time (a few hours ago) every time I clicked on something with the mouse, there was an audible 'click' sound on the speakers. Some in my family found this irritating; I quite liked it. Anyway, I was playing around with 'Desktop Themes' and lost my 'click' sound. My mouse is now just boringly silent.

I want my 'click' sound back! I have tried every possibility (I think?) under the 'Sounds' properties in Control Panel. Is there something I'm missing? It used to make the sound whenever I did things like click on a link or the buttons on the IE5 toolbar.

Go back into sounds and for every thing like "close program" "maximize" "minimize" etc. select the "START.WAV" This should make it click again.
