Know of any free sms sites ?

Hey people, i would like to send an sms message through the net to someones mobile phone.

This person is in Boston.

Does anyone know of any web sites that would allow me to do this ?.

I have tried www.mtnsms.com (http://www.mtnsms.com) but they dont seem to have a partnership with my friends provider.

Incase this helps my friends number starts with +1617 (i have included the international code because i am in Austria, and i dont know if this number starts off with a 0 or not inside the US).
