I have formatted many times to get rid of this problem i have.. i have fixed it several times after changing BIOS options.. but when i set everything back to default it does it again.. the problem usually occurs when i run a direct 3d application or game.. i thought it might be my graphics card.. but i believe its a bios setting that i have overlooked somehow.. I havent overclocked, i actually underclocked to see if i was running my cpu too hot.. but that didnt do anything..
the apps and games that freeze the most are... Half-Life, Diablo2, Worldcraft (half life map editor), IE5.5...
im really getting fed up with this, and hope someone has had the same problem along with a solution...

Dlink DE 528 Network Card
128mb ram
Quantum Fireball 20.5 gb
I have:
The Latest Detonator Drivers For my GFX Card
The Latest patches for all these programs and games
I have scanned for viruses also..
please help me.. thanks
