And then giving me answers that make me do even more work then i did before comming here to get atleast some answers makes no sense.

Not that you would check on the posts to your bit of banter but:
Picture this, you are standing at a podium speaking to some 10,000 people or so. And your subject matter is on world hunger. If you could read the minds of those 10,000 people you would get a multitude of opinions, personal experiences, likes & Dislikes, those that would embrace you and those that will shun you. When you post to a forum or submit an article for review that is what you are exposing yourself to. If any advice would help, I would say to you, go to a quiet place, perhaps the mountains or somewhere outdoors, close your eyes take a few deep breaths and thank GOD for being alive. Relax.

We are all different, some of us have a lot of experience and others have less, the important thing that some people seem to forget is, that most if not all here are trying to help in whatever way they can.

Some can do so with success, others with less.

It is naive to think that simply by posting a question you will receive exactly the answer you were hoping for, and sometimes there is no answer.

Since I am almost certain that this individual will check back to monitor his thread, I will offer this in the interest of being helpful even toward the "infidel:"

If you are going to use a modem get an external serial modem, they are the best - even the devil should know that.

The price is about the same as an internal modem but an external has several advantages:

1. Will keep a slot and system resources free (if you are one of those who do not disable unused serial ports in BIOS).

2. Generally they maintain higher connection speeds.

3. They are easily portable to any PC or Mac.

4. They are supported by every operating system, Windows, Linux, BeOS, Mac OS, etc.

it really is sad to see someone leave here for any reason but your reasons for leaving have me baffled. This among all the bbs's out there has civility and respect among its members because we have moderators and adminintrstors that do their jobs very well and keep that from happening here....granted not all of it can or is stopped but stick around and you wont find a better place or more knowledgable people on the net....

yes a little research helps and we all have the same buttons labeled search including you so chill out and take your shoes off and sit a spell and dont get so defensive so quick and people will work with you and get the answers you seek but being immature will get you nothing..

after looking through his post's I see that our member's have behaved admirably when they really could have flamed him.(a little heat wouldn't hurt the little devil)
secondly he seem's to want us to do all the work for him RIGHT **** NOW. like we don't have anything better to do than put up with immature people.
I would imagine there are some of us who wouldn't bother answering his post due to his name alone.
I also wonder what he's so ticked off about when several member's answered his question.
personally I would hate to work with this guy he probably listen's like a brick wall. know's everything,and is ticked off at the whole world because he's not king.
