Hello All
Since I installed my Plexwritter 12/10/32a and I made my CD Rom a slave it will no longer auto start. Is this normal? Is there a setting I could change to make it auto start? I am not concerned that it wont auto start it's just I was wondering if I ever needed to use my HP Recovery disc (Heaven forbid) I might need it to autostart.

The first thing you want to check is that "auto insert notification" is checked under the CD-Rom listing in Device Manager.
If that setting is already enabled, you'll have to make a change to the registry. It's not uncommon for this feature to get turned off during the installation of CD-Rs. The following Microsoft Knowlegdge Base article should solve your problem, but be careful to heed their warnings if your not experienced in editing the registry.
CD-ROM Does Not Run Automatically When Inserted (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q177/8/80.ASP)

Thank you Fingers. I will check that out in a little while. I am deep in recording some old 33's right now and I am "lost in the 50's" right now. I loved the 50's.

It was probably the CD burning software that disabled auto-start, and rightly so - you do not want auto-instert-notification if you are burning CDs.
