registry size

I recently read (somewhere in here) that profiles on User.dat and System.dat would give me the size of my registry.I don't have those files.I do have system.rsc and user.rsc...also system.nav and user.nav..
which of those sets refer to the registry in win95?

In W98 these are "Hidden" files. In Windows Explorer >View >Folder Options >View there is the option to Show All Files. W95 should be similar.
