Quicklaunch bar

Hi i recently saw a desktop with almost no icons on it because they were all in the quicklaunch bar. And i've been trying to get that myself. Does anyone know how to do that?
Maybe with a small,and free, program?

Do you have any appz that come with this feature?

Mine came with SBL software, it's an option to install (CT Launcher)

Also my MS Office has that feature, but I prefer the above.

In Windows 98, you just click and drag them to the bar..

Then delete the original icon

You can make your own toolbar(s) and place them on any edge of your desktop. If you turn on autohide, they'll act just like the Windows task bar and only be displayed when the cursor touches the side of the screen where the toolbar is hidden. You will also probably want to right click on the new toolbar and turn off "Show Title" and "Show Text" to conserve space.
