Ok, my friend brings Xena : Warrior Princess(PlayStation) out of the blue to my house and asks be to give it a try. After looking at the game's case and the images that the word xena brought in my head, I said to myself, "In hell i will." But...
One sunny morning, i gave it a try just for the hell of it. After a few minutes of swearing and fidgeting while playing, i was surprise that the game was actually fun and enjoyable in its own way. Pretty cool game :)

you thought RTCW would be a bad game?

mine would have to beeeeee, **** i cant remember but it was a budget game that didn't get a lot of publicity but was a great game in its own right.

Defintly the Serious Sam games for me. I didnt expect much for $10/20 but they were a lot of fun.

Got it bundled with my Wingman... since bundled games are normally a good sign of ****ness, I wasn't hoping for much. It was a good way to spend a few hours.... and that's more than I expected so bonus :)

Max Payne.
Lets face it, it starts out and presents itself as a cheesy rushed ironic game..... which in the end it isn't...

close combat series for me was opposite. I thought they would be good and I really didnt like them. Mabey the odd view got me. I dont know.

It does not have the graphics but it has alot of game play.
Why do you think it is stupid?
I thought it was odd....................but the game really is cool I was able to stop 4 tanks and a scout car with out tanks of my own.

It takes alot of strategy.

i would have to say system shock 2. for 4$ at the classical game section i got it and it took me 10 months to beat :P good game though!:cool:

Ah, System Shock 2. I love that game. The first time I played it I didn't think it would be that good. Once you get into it you get hooked. Great game :)

Actually I thought RTCW would be a dog too. I got the demo disk in a magazine, gave it a whirl and holy cow, I'm still hooked!

It's a great game in its own right. I was afraid it was going to be all hype and no substance.

That muliplayer demo was one of the best demos I ever played. I played that for months it seemed. Thats what hooked me on it.

but the ending was kinda stupid and tough. :)
