I have been using Eudora Email by Qualcomm for the last 5 or 6 years. I think it is easier to use than the Outlook products. You can download their free version from www.eudora.com (http://www.eudora.com) . The free version has a little square on the left side that has Ads on it. But, it is the full featured version.

Hey Brangwen --

I've been using Eudora Pro for a couple of years now and since I haven't been able to afford to up-grade it to 5.0, I'm still using 4.3 in paid mode. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

Tell you the truth, you couldn't pay me to switch to Outlook or OE! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Well, I have to speak up and let you know I am PASSIONATE about Pegasus Mail by David Harris....
Here is the link http://www.pmail.com
It is free, there is nothing to upgrade to like Eudora. It is rich. There is a great support group.

Colleagues & Fellow Tinkerers:

I've been using Juno for a year, but am leaving it for greener pastures. Juno does not allow the use of a "separate" e-mail handler such as MS Outlook, though my next ISP will. Any alternatives to Outlook that anyone has found preferable?

Thx.

Both Pegasus and Eudora are FAR superior to Outlook. You can even still get Eudora Light (the original free, NO ADS, one) or Pegasus (direct download) from here: http://members.cnx.net/reboot/e.htm
