Need PC to PC File Transfer Program

Hello all,

I need some help. I need a Direct Cable Connection File Transfer Program that will run uder Windows XP and also run from DOS. I have a colleague's computer that got hosed and I need to try to recover his files if at all possible. WINLINK 95 does not work under XP that I have been able to figure out, WINLINK 2000 won't run from DOS, so what do I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to use Fast PC Linker 3 , worked great, easy to use. Its Shareware, here's the link
