I was loooking at buying a p4 motherboard, and i saw that all the PCI slots were PCI 2.2, and all the perpherial cards i have are PCi 2.1. can I still plug my old cards into the new PCI 2.2 slots. not many pci 2.2 devices are coming out.

Yes, your PCI 2.1 devices should work just fine on your 2.2 slots.:t

They better be, else it'll be very pointless to bring out a new version of PCI, like who will upgrade all their hardware just because the BUS has upgraded?
