Could you please post the best Radeon Drivers there are to date. I am having problms with my Radeon7000 and have tried a few of the latest drivers and they all aeem to be the same.

Ive couplesd the 7000 with an Xp1800@1.6GHZ and cannot play games in any higher than 800x600 without severe pauses when there is a ot of action. Ive scaled the texture etc dowm but nothing seems to work. I get the same FPS or thereabout running on 640x480 or at 1024x768 and in MOH and RTCW the framerate drops below 15 somtimes and it gets really frustating.

Also my 3Dmark score is way below average. Im scoring 1700 while people with the same spec are scoring 3000 and that is a BIG difference.

So if you could post the best drivers that have worked for you then i will try them out and see if they make any difference.

I kind of doubt there are too many people using a Radeon 7000 with a 1.6 GHz Athlon XP... that is one huge bottleneck. Geforce 2 GTS/Pro/Ti isn't too expensive, and will double or triple your score.

i have scanned for virus's and found none using mcafee.

I know the 7000 isnt a great card but with a 1.6GHz XP it should produce somting until i can affoed a new card.

And GFD i have tried many drivers and they all seem to hve pro's and cons to them. becasue not all new drivers are the best ones.

It doesn't matter if you have a 10Ghz CPU, that card is too slow.
