Anyone ever order from Piranha Technology (http://www.piranhatech.com/index.asp) before? Their hard drive prices look pretty good, and with free shipping. They're not in ResellerRatings. I was thinking about getting a hard drive from them.

Check under alinamicro.com that was the name the formerly did business under and the got some really terrible reviews from digruntled consumers

i would go to www.m-i-m.net its really new so its preatty cheap. Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM = $130

newegg has the same drive for $114. There are much better prices to be had at newegg and you also get full descriptions of what your buying at newegg where mim net doesnt give any.

PLus Newegg has the best support and fastest shipping. It only took one day for them to send out my hard drive for me. I should be getting it tommorrow or the next day and I ordered it this morning.

newegg is pretty cheap, but when you live in LA and have to pay tax it's not always the best place to buy. I wish I was still living back east:(

I know what you mean. It sucks having to pay sales tax along with shipping. Thank goodness for Fry's. They have some great deals every now and then.

Wish they had a Fry's here in Oklahoma.
Use to go to Fry's Electronics almost every weekend when I was stationed in Phx. AZ. Then I moved back to Ok.
