I was searching through all my old gear, and I came across:

66 x 30 pin simms. ( 256k to 1mb ).
13 X 30 pin sipps. ( 256 k ? )
22 X 64 pin simms. ( various )
A handful of 80pin cache modules for intel boards. 256k .

Anyone any good ideas what to do with them? Hate to see waste.
Anyone need a couple of anything to do up an old board? ( free ).
Any ideas where I could give them to, that will use them? Tech, college, third world?
Any ideas on how I could use them now?

Open for suggestions. If you got a particularly good idea, I'd like to hear it.

All the best, Justy.

Edit: must use spell checker! doh.

I've got a case decoration project in the works - attaching old memory chips to the case. Have a problem to overcome first - making the case ridgid so that the chips don't pop off. Some sort of easily attached reinforcement is needed.
So hang on to them if you can; I need to take inventory first of what I've already got, and what I need.

Jeff,
Are you using something like a hot glue gun to attach your decorations? If that doesn't work use clear silicone it's flexable, and won't pop off as easily..

Hehe, jeff,

Its gonna look like some kind of reptile. I'll definitely spare you some for that. You'll have to post pic's though.

Anyone else?

All the best, Justy.
