Hey, is the Zip thing Internal or External? Also, can a ZIP 100 Mb disk be read using a 250 Mb drive?

Some can, some cant-its purely model dependant. I do believe though that all Iomega 250zip drives are capable. :t

check that link it confirms it. Iomega 250mb zip does run 100mb disks aswell! Heck its even a review of it when first made available for sale. I love it when I'm right. Hehe! Enjoy.:)

What does the 1 AMR mean?

Also, how many IDE controllers does it have?

AMR is a modem riser card. About half the size of a pci slot and is the last slot on mobo. It is used for sound cards and modems. They are very cheap ($ not quality!) as they are software controled. Mostly used by manufacturers and not DIY'ers.;) :t

P.S. Most newer mobo's ahve one.
