Drop down and wait ?

After using Outlook 2000 all my dropdown menus slow down. Sometimes I have to pull them down with the cursor. It only happens after I send mail. I have to restore my system to previous date to get them to work right. This may be the only place I can get the answer. can't get an answeer from Microsoft. Athlon-ME-Office2000. HELP!!!

Did you disable Menu Animations?
Under Tools/Customize/Options tab, set Menu Animations to none maybe that will help.

Thank's Cygnus-X1! I checked it out and it wasn't on. It's like a itch I can't scratch. Im not sure what else to try, If you have anymore ideas I would like to hear them. The ghost keeps haunting me. I will not give up!!
