How can I get rid of the windows Login Prompt? I tired looking and deleting the ".pwl" file, but that didn't work. I am running Win98SE. Thanx.

set your primary network logon to window logon.

you can also use tweakui to automatically enter a name and password.:D

Rampage, I followed that link, but it couldn't help me. No matter what I do, the change password button is never available. Also, when I log at the windows prompt, I'm always asked to confirmed the pass word. So odd.

go to your network settings and set your primary logon to windows family network.

next go to the control panel and under users.... remove all users.

last in the control panel go to the password applet. change password. if you have a password enter it for "old password".. if you did not have a password leave "old password" blank. leave "New password" blank in both boxes.

apply all settings and restart.

Remember that when you restart to leave the password blank and click OK. Otherwise you'll keep being prompted.

Here's what my Win98se properties look like.
