Alex Iannuzzi 07-06-2002, 02:28 AM Here is a site for this Radio Tuner but it is only FM. D-Link FM Radio Extrernal USB S$ 55.00 http://www.videopro.com.sg/pricelst/CAT03601.PHP Why not put your PC's idle time to good use by downloading the seti@home client HERE (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/windows.html) and then joining the Sysopt.com Users 2002 Team HERE (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=Sysopt.com+Users+2002) Ape0r 07-06-2002, 03:11 AM You'd save $55 by plugging your radio into your sound card's Line-In jack, using the radio's headphone jack. milkymilk 07-06-2002, 11:05 PM thanks, is there one with a FM and an AM tuner? Bigjakkstaffa 07-07-2002, 08:21 AM You can pick up a lot of radiostations using Media Player 7 -- why bother splashing out  --Jakk:t milkymilk 07-07-2002, 09:25 AM because those arent the local stations i want to hear Bigjakkstaffa 07-07-2002, 09:35 AM Ah - i get your drift :) --Jakk:t fluffycow 07-08-2002, 02:45 PM why not just hook up a radio to your line in? Optimus Prime 07-08-2002, 03:43 PM Originally posted by fluffycow why not just hook up a radio to your line in? It has been said mate, ape0r already said that, and i think i have the answer to why he doesn't want to do that: The radio is less quality (well, mine, i mean ALL of mine, like 5 of them) and are hard to tune, where as via a radio tuner card it is MUCH, MUCH better quality and not as much crackling... so THERE! :p milkymilk 07-08-2002, 06:13 PM i want to listen to the radio on the computer with my Insprie 5.1's Ape0r 07-08-2002, 06:31 PM It'd be a lot easier and cheaper to just plug your stereo into the line-in on your sound card - I'm sure if it has 5.1 then it has line-in. If there is no line-in then you can use it in the microphone jack. A radio tuner card will offer ease of use and somewhat better sound quality, but you should be sure that you really want to spend $55 dollars for slightly better sound quality, when you can do it for free.
