I'm trying to burn a movie in .afs format using nero5. This is the message I get.
"The file... need MPEG-2 which was encoded for Super Video CD;audio 44.1kHz MPEG-1/2, layer 2; stereo/dual-channel/multi-channel
video:480x480 at 29.97Hz or 480x576 at 25Hz

Analysis of the file found
-stream encoding which is invalid for a Video-CD
-no video
-no audio"

I just watched it and its all good. What can I do?

You get that error when you choose video cd as an option. That option is for burning a VCD to play in your DVD player..if you just want to burn it as an .asf file..burn it as a data CD. If you want to play it elsewhere..you have to convert it to mpeg.
Here is a site that may answer some of your questions in regard to VCD's

hope this helps
