OOPs, Why not hy...eheh

I have a AMD tbird system, but with the same load of windows2k it did it with my celeron 850 setup. For some reason I cant use my burner (hp 8100) in win2k..I have to go into WinMe on my other hd to do burning. I've tried easy cd creator too, no go. Why do I get this SCSI/IDE error in win2k. Is there a Via driver I need(i installed the 4 in 1 )for my MSI K7t pro? A setting maybe? I dont get it. The cd writer is on a different ide cable from the win2k HD also..so i rulled that out. Any help appreciated!!

Steve

What version of Adaptec's software are you using? (you must use 4.02 or higher to be compatable with Win2K) also have you tried reinstalling the ASPI files as they might have gotten damaged?
