Sounds ok to me. Best over here is a WD 80gb for seventy pounds, about 100 dollars.

"Ghost" will allow you to make complete HD image and transfer it over to your new HD.
Good purchase, too :)

If you're looking to move program by program, rather than one swell foop, then you might check into COA 32. (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,7851,00.asp)

An excellent review can be found here. (http://www.isye.gatech.edu/people/faculty/Marc_Goetschalckx/cali/Windows%20Configuration/Windows%20Configuration%20Html/COA32_RelocatingApplicationswithoutReinstalling.ht m)

Ohhhh. Did I mention it's free.;)

i was about to image with ghost when suddenly it tells me that i need a "license key" to restore...well didnt have it so......:(

another thing is i have never used Windows built-in hardrive partitioning/management software, so does anyone know how to format a new drive in the FAT32 system? when i tried it, it only allowed NFTS.
