Pioneer DVD-ROM 105s.....a few questions about region free

Howdy,

I own a pioneer DVD-ROM 105s, and was wondering if it at all possible to make it region free.
I used the driveinfo program and this is what I got. (I'll type out the screen shot)

Region : 4
User : 4 changes left
Manufacturer : 4 changes left
Status : Not permanent

-------------------------------------

The thing that has me wondering is the status = not permanent, does this mean that I can make this drive region free?

I've probably left out a few vital peices of information, so if you think you can help, let me know what else you need to know.
