I got a friend wants to do this and I know it can be done but dont know the way. I dont use a laptop and he's a novice at pc's. So we both need it spelled out, hardware/software needed and any tips or links. In case it matters;
Gateway Solo 5300
Kycera 2235 w/ Verizon Wireless
The wrench in the works would be his ISP, which is cable. He'll need a dailup of coarse or can he connect thru his pc at home via a call home?
