xp log on screen

when i start windows xp pro, it gets to the log on screen and i just press enter for it to continue loading. i find this annoying because i like to switch on and go off and do something else while it loads, but it only gets as far as the log on until i press enter. is there any way to get it to continue loading on it's own?

In the User Accounts menu there is the option to disable the welcome screen.

thanks for that, but i've already disabled the welcome screen, what i get now is the log on prompt, that is what i want to get rid of, so that windows just loads completely on it's own.

If you only have 1 user re-enable the welcome screen it will display for a few seconds than continue to load Windows without your input.
