xp can't connect ??

I dont understand ? I just got an ADSL connection for my home. runs great in win2k server but it can't connect when I using XP pro (DUAL BOOT)
I've check tcp/ip, nic driver, disabling firewall etc

nothing works

can't renew my ip or anything?? weird ?? :confused:

any clue to help me trouble this problem?
called my ISP they said there is something wrong with your XP you need to have a technician look at it. I am like I am a technicin!! you loser :D

so it's the same machine, and only xp can't connect? weird. Did you try resetting the adsl modem? shut down the system, reset the modem, and boot the system back up with xp. It might be some kinda of IP lease. Do you have DHCP or do you have to use a static IP?

but using dail-up works fine. man this is weird.
I know it's something to do with my ISP not my machine!

maybe call your isp and see if they know of any windows xp related issues. just out of curiosity, what ip address is it grabbing? you also might try copying your windows 2k dialup settings to a disk and pasting it on the xp side. it's worth a shot anyhow.
