Dos ? for windows me

I have some software that requires for me to be in pure dos and I dont no how to get into dos with windows me. Could somebody help me please. MS dos promt does not work! Thanks

I know that with every new version of Winders, they move further away from DOS. You should be able to get into pure DOS by restarting the computer by selecting Restart In MS DOS in the shutdown screen. (that is if it is there in ME... obviously, I don't know ME)

No restart in DOS mode in ME. The only DOS option is Start/Programs/Accessories/MS-DOS prompmt. What program are you trying to run?

If you need pure DOS, by far your best bet (in my opinion at least) is to get yourself a DOS boot diskette. Personally, I find I cannot live without them. Some packages that MUST run under DOS, such as Drive Image from Power Quest, come on a CD but provide the capability to create DOS boot diskettes.

Create a ME Startup disk from control panel add/remove progams.
