This happens every time I boot now, in windows ME.

I tried reinstalling ME over itself, my data is fine, but the error persists.

If I close the error box things seem normal... but I'd sure like to fix it.

have u installed anything recently?

goto start > run > (type) msconfig.exe
see whats in the startup tab, (uncheck the unnessasary program) maybe its running at the start up and causes ur error.

when i saw the title i thought i've seen that before ??? -- ms office ??? -- do you have it ???

the thing you disabled was probably their stupid office quick start or toolbar

i could understand if they had been foreign language version but they were regular U.S. english. We're only a few 100 miles from Seattle :rolleyes:

Why, yes- the office toolbar is installed. It seems useless to me as well.
