I am trying to setup a RAID-0 Array on my ASUS A7V266E w/PROMISE CHIP. When I try to boot to the Array I get the stop error. I have checked both drives and they look to be identical. All the RAID utility screens show all is ok. Windows XP only shows the F drive. The stop error comes just after Win loads the drivers. I have researched the Microsoft support pages but the specific error does not show up.
ERROR: STOP:0X0000007B,(0XF89516400),0XC0000034,0X0000000 0,0X00000000

Have you tried pressing F6 during XP installation so you can add your own raid drivers?

I have had nearly that exact error code on my gf's pc and by testing each part i found it out to be bad ram. A friend looked at the code and said ram problem straight away, i wish id asked him before i had tested everything. Oh Well. I put some new ram in and everything was fine.

I had to reformat the drives. They had been formated one at a time and when I reformatted as a raid they loaded and came on line. I am sorry that I forgot about posting it since I had not heard from anyone in several weeks. But thanks for the input.
