I recently installed smartdoctor to find out what temperatures my video card was running at and once it was running it gave me a warning that the VDDQ voltage was too high. From what i have read it should be 3V when in AGP 2x or 1.5V when in AGP 4x and its currently 2.06V
The temperature on the card stays between 50C and 53C but i have been having a few problems with my system locking up completely (power button only works after 5s when its set for no delay in the bios).
My system:
KT7A-Raid (not the 1.3)
tbird 1GHz
Asus V7700 deluxe (geforce 2 GTS)
512meg PC133 ram
1x120gig ibm drive (7200rpm)
1x80gig maxtor (7200rpm)
1x60gig quantum fireball (7200rpm)
2x60gig maxtor (5400rpm)
1x45gig IBM (7200rpm)
16x pioneer DVD
SB live platinum
windows XP pro
This system was all running on a 250W power supply which i upgraded to a 350W enermax to try and sort out the voltage problem but it makes no difference.
Any ideas, i am hoping that the high voltage is not damaging my video card since i dont want to buy a new one until i can get a opterion with an 8x agp card (almost a whole new system will be purchased with just hard drives being re-used, i want serial ATA as well :( )
