Hi Guys. I really need a good program that can create bootable recovery Cds. I already tried Ghost and Drive Image 2002 but I need something simpler. My friend for whom I need this recovery CD will not know how to use Ghost or Drive Image 2002 to restore his computer. I have also used NTi backup and this is the closest thing to what I am looking for because after you create the bootable recovery cd and you are ready to restore you just insert it and select option 1 when prompted and that's it everything else is done for you. The only problem with this software however is that it does not restore the partition you wil have to create a new partition before running Nti backup which is another my friend does not know how to do. So if anyone can tell me the name of an awesome program that can create bootable recovery cds I will sincerely and truly appreciate it.
Thanks

Ghost is the most simple program I know for restoring a system. Once the image is created even an Idiot can restore a system.

Thanks for the reply. Ok one more question, is there a way to make the cd bootable and not have to use the floppy disk when restoring an image with ghost 2002. Thanks

Just copy the contents of the Ghost floppy to the CD and then use Ghost Explorer to span the image to the CD(s).

can't nero or easy cd creator 5 do the job?
the backup HD option??
It really doesn't get too much easier than running Drive Image 2000 off a pair of floppies.
Instead of playing to their fears, teach your friend also how to make a backup image so that you won't have to help reinstall stuff after a crash that wasn't on the created disk.
I taught my brother how to use it over the phone. He lives on the other side of the continent. Anytime he calls me with a problem, I just say, "Restore!"
