when i boot up, I get the following in post:
floppy drive error code 40
now i can press f1 and continue, but i can't use my floppy station.
I know there is no physical problems, cause i havn't touched anything. what should I change in Bios?

If you haven't changed anything in the BIOS recently, then it isn't likely to be that.
Either the floppy cable has fallen off, or the drive's bad. Open up your case to have a look.

iff you have opened the case recently check you havent accidently pulled the floppy cable from the mobo, other than that sorry the drives buggered but hey its the cheapest part of your pc to go wrong

Usually that error code appears when the floppy drive is disconnected or if it isn't there!
If everything seems ok, replace it. Won't bankrupt you...

I turned the cable and now it works fine!!!
