First of all, here's the thread (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=109304) that was originally posted in the Sysopt's videocard/monitors forum regarding codecreatures. There's a .png graphic displaying the results using various video cards on a Pentium IV system. Also, you can download Codecreatures from here (http://www.majorgeeks.com/article.php?sid=1256).

Next, here are my numbers for an average of 3 runs. I used their default benchmark suite which tests at 3 different resolutions. By the way Codecreatures looks beautiful, much like the Nature scene in 3dMark2001SE. In anycase onto the numbers. Note that I'm actually pleased with how my Duron/GeForce3 rig compared with the P4 setup in the png graphic. I didn't do nearly as bad I thought I would heh heh. Still over 10 fps at 1024x768 res.

1024x768
fps: 13.4
max fps: 26
avg. polys/sec: 4.5 mio
max polys/sec: 5.3 mio
total frames: 1765

1280x1024
fps: 12.0
max fps: 22
avg. polys/sec: 4.0 mio
max polys/sec: 4.9 mio
total frames: 1572

1600x1200
fps: 10.1
max fps: 16
avg. polys/sec: 3.5 mio
max polys/sec: 4.6 mio
total frames: 1326

System config:
AMD Duron 1GHz@1.243
1.5gig Kingston PC-133 SDRAM
ASUS A7V133a mobo (Award BIOS v.1009)

Now thats a real P4 setup. How do you compare to the P4 references? I love it when I see a P4 reference that totally shows it sucking but when I bench it does ten times better than its suposed to-I wonder why that is!;) :t
