What is the different between the k6 2 and k6 3? And is the upgrade worth it. (I have k2 6 450)

This should probable be posted to overclocking/cpu's, but here goes...
A K6-3 has 256kb L2 cache which runs at the same speed as the processor and uses the cache on the motherboard as an additional (L3) cache. This extra much faster cache makes then K6-3 considerably faster than the K6-2s. Also AMD makes a K6-2+ and a K6-3+ now. They are built on a smaller die (.18 micron) so they use less power, but are harder to find, because AMD is selling them as mobile processors. The K6-2+ has 128 KB L-2 cache, the K6-3+ has 256KB.
