Mail Attachments not being sent

I'm using Outlook and my attachments are not being sent. (Its not a situation involving the dreaded aol either).

It occurs when I send both my vcard and a word document.

I also had a firewall operating (@Guard) although I can send the same attachment when requested a second time.

Any help?
