HOw good is this memeory

I was wondering if you guys, and gals http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif, could check out this link and tell me what you think of the memory that is listed on it. I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for some good to high quality ram at a cheap price. Looking for 256 or more if the price is right. Thanks A lot.

Hey Mike.
When looking at online stores, I look more at the store's reputation first.

PremiereSystems gets a 3.4 out of 7 at Sysopt's www.resellerratings.com (http://www.resellerratings.com) . I typically steer way away from any company that has less than 4.5 or so. Reading the reviews is not a good sign for Premiere.

I usually get my RAM from www.pcboost.com (http://www.pcboost.com) aka Advanced PC Boost ( http://www.resellerratings.com/vendone.cgi?PCBoost.com ) Their rating is 5.7 out of 7. I have never had a single problem with them and they helped me learn a bit about what I was getting, when I didn't know any better.

Beware though, the market has been flooded by 256 MB sticks that may or may not be compatible with your mobo. It has to do with the ultra high density chips. You can check it out, but I need to find the link that explains it in detail and tells which mobos are affected.

Here is some of that cheap 256 meg pc133 memory currently @$67 a stick. It works in my PC CHips 805 lmr - one of the motherboards with the later chipsets that can handle this memory. Make sure yours is a compatible chip set. The link on the page explains which boards work and don't
