I bought a AG315T-64 Which is the SIS315 Video card with TV out. I bought it that I could watch my DVD on the computer from a TV using a X10 hardware. However I am not getting any thing from the TV-OUT. (Picture of Video Card Attached)
The X10 hardware is working because I can hook it up to the VCR or the Stereo and get what I want. I can get movie in any room on a remote TV etc. But nothing coming out of the TV-OUT of the video card. I try the jack that looks like the sound card jack and I also use the RCA jack and nothing coming out.
Thanks for any help.

you want to watch a DVD on your computer screen or on your TV screen?? In order to use the TV out you need to go into your display properties and enable the TV out. This will display your computer screen on any TV with a Video In. Make sure you plug the cable into your TV-INPUT and not TV-OUTPUT

from the pic you have S-Video (S-VHS) and composite. Composite will "always" work if you get the nessary adapter for Scart, S-Video apparently only works if your TV supports it.
With Nvidia cards you have to enable Nview / dual view but there are other programs available. Unfortunately they only support NVidia chipsets (at least the ones I found).

Also many tv's need the tv-out/ext-in signel enabled. You cant just plug it in (usually) and its work. So usually the svideo in on the tv is an external channel either EXT1,2,3.
On your remote you should have an EXT or VIDIN button to enable an external single into the tv

Thanks to all for your reply.
To Nick CPU
Thanks, for you reply. I need to watch the DVD movie on the TV. I play it on the DVD attach to the computer but because of the 17 screen I want to watch it on the TV which is a bigger screen. The Manifacturer send me an E-Mail to use the S-Video, which is the only one I never try because I did not have a cable. Some replies I got from this site Also said that is the one to use. Thanks to all who reply.
Now I need to acquire the cable that hook to the S-Video. I think Radio shack might have it, but I dont know what to ask for. I am going there today and I am going to call it " A PS/2-attachment-to-a-RCA-jack cable" Hope I will get the right on.
I will keep checking this site. One day I might be able to help some one, as much as I have been helped.
