Good day people.

Help me out here.I have a big problem,I know to u its not.I am struggling with my assignments.

Now here are my two questions.

(1)What factors should one consider when selecting a programming language or program development tool.

(2)Given the following ,clasify which are classes and which are subclasses: Versant;Polehedra;Object-relational Database;Access;SQL Server;Objectstore;DB2;Essbase;Relational Databases;Informix;Data model;GemStone;Data Models and Associated DBMss;POET;Popular DBMSs;Ingres;Oracle Express;Multidimensional Databases;Sybase and Object oriented Databases.

I tried referring in my prescribed book to no avail.Please help me out here.I am supposed to submit tomorrow.

Thanx for the support, but I could do with some help .

Don't know many languages, but one would presume that you could :

1) go with obvious, speed, reliability, speed to program (get the program developed), knowledge of langauage, final application (i.e a web program should really be ASP / PHP or similar not .exe), spreadsheet/database/text files...., versility, and the others.

2) I only recognise/heard of two of em :D sorry.

What definition of 'class' are you using?
