Old news. I spotted rimm4200 way back. Anyhow back to question yes you MUST pair pc1066 just like all 16bit seriel rdram (pc600-800). Rim4200 will require a dif. mobo that as of yet not being made by ANYONE. Time will tell if it will even show in the market, though I hope it does. It may breath some new life into rdram.:)

I'll bet that 32bits and 1 slot rimm will come at a heavy price still delaying the feasibility to the standard user although the 800 came down significantly but I gather intel won't be happy not being able to make a quick profit off of new technology since they all seem to need their money now not later.

Forgot to add we can all see how a comment can have a negative effect on others so lets stick to the facts or opinions lest we hurt others feelings which is always most important in a community, thank you and do nice.:)

yeah $1500-P4 gamer, rimm 4200 is old news, it was introduced way back in february, but no one has it yet... yes exactly what $1500-P4 gamer says.. there are 184 pin versions of pc 1066 rdrams, and there are 232 pin pc 1066 rdrams which is really rare. THE 232 PIN PC 1066 ARE THE ONES THAT IS 32 BIT. so you don't need to install them in pairs. The 184 pin versions of pc 1066 is simply overclocked pc 800 rdrams. So you still need to install 184 pin versions in pairs and have it fill up all the slots or have c-rimms fill up the empty slots or it won't work! So I hope this cleared up the confusion. And NO, the 232 pin modules won't fit in a motherboard that supports 184 pin, so becareful when you buy! Motherboards that supports 232 pin rimm 4200 32 bit are EXTREAMLY RARE. I only know ONE motherboard that supports that, and It's VERY RARE as of NOW. It is the Asus P4T533, NOT the P4T533-C! It is so rare in the market that i don't know any resellers that sells that. Anyone know where i can get me self a P4T533?

Didnt mean to **** you off speedo. That was not my intention nor was it arogance. I Posted that months ago here on THIS forum under mobo's when I found it searching on rdram tech. Thats what I ment by I spotted it way back! And the reason I clearified the dif. was NO it didnt help him. It confused the issue as he CAN NOT as of now even use that ram. If he got it he would have been stuck with something he couldnt use. Sorry for the confusion, I wasnt trying to outdo you or make you look bad and if thats what I did I sincerely apologize. SORRY.:(
