My System:
Asus A7V Via KT 333 with new 4in1AGP drivers, RAID disabled
XP1800+ 10x166 and 1.85 V
Lead Tech Ti 4400 128 megs at default (IRQ 11)
AGP Apert 128 megs in BIOS, USWC enabled/UC, no difference
Samsung 512 megs DDR2700 CAS 2/2T/2T/5
SB Live (IRQ 11)
Win 98 SE
PS 300 watts
D-Link 520 wireless NIC (IRQ 11)
Maxtor 133 80 Megs
Sony 50X CD RAM
Glob Win TAK 68, CPU temp idle 55 C and 58 respectively
I believe I should score easily over 10,000.
3D Mark 2001 SE at default
Mobo temp 32 C

Is there possibility of IRQ conflict?
If yes how you deal with that?
Any other suggestions?
Help Folks!!!

9800 3DMarks seems quite good for your system

I concur. If all your hardware is at default settings (no overclocking) than your numbers are fine. I built a system for a friend using an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ proc, ASUS A7V333 board, 256MB Samsung PC2700 DDR at CAS2.5, ASUS GeForce4 Ti4400 video card, Windows XP Pro, Western Digital 60gig 7200rpm drive among other stuff. He scores a little above 9900+ at default speeds.

You can get over 10k marks easy if you overclock your fsb and video card. Be aware though, that the new patch for 3dMark2001SE fixes a bug which causes the program to benchmark your video card during the transition scenes. The patch will drop your scores by as much as 50 marks. Which really isn't that big of a deal.

I have the same! P4 478 socket 1.5gig williamette. Geforce 3 original VisionTek and I score 6000+ with default settings on 3d mark 2001se. The plus being upwards to 6500 depending on if everything is good as far as the vid drivers (each set gives dif result) and etc. What video card do you have and how much ram? Heck I only got 256mb pc800 right now.

I believe I should score easily over 10,000.

You sure can. How? easy, just download nvidia detonator drivers and riva tuner and overclock that sucker to it's big brother's settings. 300+/650+ :D :t

Make that 7076 with a 110fsb and 10mhz mem and core bump! Working the vid settings up to see how high it can go! I hear these VisionTeks O'clock pretty well, bout to find out!
