Vnc problem ...

I am trying to log onto another computer using vnc but after i write down the password wich is correct i get this error msg.

Java.net. NoRouteToHostException : operation timed out

Can u ping or access that computer with other methods? I use VNC on a regualar basis and never got that error message. Sounds like there is not a functioning connection at all. Try accesing that computer from an internet browser type [ip address]:5800 (eg. 24.72.9.177:5800) see if that helps.

but connection to the computer is not the problem i connect through a browser and i get the password screen so i can connect to the computer but when itry to login the error comes..
