I got lucky and both my Duron 800 and 1.2 are unlocked. I'm running an Asus A7V, which has a voltage limit of 1.85 vcore without soldering. I have plenty of ventilation, and have a volcano 5 on the CPU.

With just air cooling i've managed to get to 1391 on the 1.2 with the multiplier at 12.5, the bus at 107, and the voltage at 1.77. When I go to 109 bus I get a "ntkern" error at win boot, and this happens at 1.77 or 1.85.

At 1.77 vcore, the CPU temps is 52-55C, depending on room temp I guess. Two questions: is there anything else outside of soldering to get further OC out of this CPU, with air cooling?, and is there a rule of thumb for how far over room temp the CPU would be?

Thanks oh wise ones!!

CPU will fry at 90°C.
You'll probably start to experience lockups at 65°C.
