Can anyone please tell me how to shrink a picture from my EPSON 1650 scanner to a manageable size of 3x4 ( on screen ) for my E-Mail programme Outlook express v.6.

Hi and Welcome to SysOpt!
You can use a graphics editing app like adobe photoshop , jasc paint shop or even standard M$ paint.
1. Open the file in one of them
2. goto image > image size (or it might be something like change size ,etc)
3. set the size of the image to what u want
(but i think you should be able to do this using your scanning software)

Yeah your scanner's software should allow you to change the output size. Or just save it big then resize it in any photo editor then resave it. If you need one Irfanview is free.

:) Thanks Xenon and kento:
I was not able to get my scanner to resize my pictures and I don't have "Photoshop" but I was able to get "Picture It" to do the job. Thanks for your speedy responds. I'm sorry that mine was not.
:t Have a great 4th of July
