Easy way to transfer outlook express contents?

I want to format my computer and stick Win2K on but i dont want to lose my old e-mails, address book and all my details.. Is there an easy way to transfer these?

If not, what are all the steps I need to take?

Go into File->Export->Address Book and messages. You can back them up to zip or floppy depending on how much stuff you have.Im not sure what you mean by details though. After youve installed Win2k, its simply repeating the steps in reverse except for importing now. Hope this helps and good luck to ya...steve

I forgot to tell u, i use outlook express.

I find that when i export the address book, it imports to outlook express fine but when i export the messages it only exports them to MS outlook, not outlook express

any ideas? am i doing something wrong?
