In windows to 2k how do you get everything to stop fading in and out? It's driving me crazy. I know I've turned it off on other computers before. I just can't remember.

fading in and out as in the power management is kicking in:confused:

sounds like dodgy eyesight to me, or maybe it's the drop-down lists we are talking about.

Sorry for not being so clear. I'm talking about when your looking through the start menu and everything fades in and out instead of just poping up or going away. I know you can turn this off somewhere.

Not on my 2k system, but I believe if you right click on the taskbar, click on properties, it's under there somewhere.
