Wondering if anyone out there has tried the Athlon XP+ in their K7T Turbo motherboard? I have been running a Duron 850 in mine (one of the older green boards, sure wish I would have waited for the limited red version :rolleyes: ) Just wondering if the board can run a Athlon XP 1700+ without a BIOS upgrade. Hoping to hear success stories, but would rather hear about someone else's problems, rather than posting about my own! :eek: Would I be better off finding an older T-Bird rather than trying an XP? I would prefer the XP with its' cooler temps and lower power demands, but only if you all think my board could run it without problems. Of course if it does have problems, I could justify ordering a new board....(Homer Simpson voice: "HMMM, justify, ehhhh?") Appreciate any input, positive or negative.
