All Nvidia cards uses the same drivers! From a TNT card to a GeForce 4 Ti4600. The driver is called the Detonators! So just download the detonator drivers from the nvidia cards.!
You can also go to :

http://www.guru3d.com

and download some utilities as well.! ;)

SiSoft Sandra's "PCI/AGP Information" module might be helpful. Or look at the video BIOS string when you start the computer.

Yep looks like sandra is right about the video card, says mine is a Gainward but left of the golden sample part.

I overclocked mine to 200/215. I think I used the coolbits reg hack to overclock it or maybe it was available with the drivers. it's under video utilites>>overclocking or something at guru3d.

I use the GeForce Tweaker it show my default speed of my
GeForce2 Mx400 64Mb... have 175 Core Clock (MHz) & Memory Clock(MHz) 333.

I want to overclock it what is the safety can up to??

Geforce2 mx400 ddr??

i think you can take the Core Clock all the way t 200mhz.
and memory to 350.. Go slow..

Push it until it crashes then back off a bit. The memory overclocking should improve performance more.

It's not DDR, it's a bug in Detonator drivers. Unless specified else, all MX series are SDR.

Well is it a bug??? Aznmask

What kind of a card is it sdr/ddr?????

The 64mb cards are:

128 bit SDR

and the 32mb cards are

64bit DDR

Overall you should be bale to push the mem spped to about
190-215, depending upon the card, and with decent cooling ive had the GPU up at 250Mhz, but for the performance gain - i wouldnt bother pushing the core.

Yep to what ND says!
My card is an Elsa 511 mx 400 card and it has SDR ram but in the Geforce Tweaking Utility it recognizes it as a DDR card.

Go slow while overclocking.!

Where did you take it from ?! It's not even nVIDIA's official specs
nVIDIA gave a "free hand" to most videocard makes - you can now find GeForce2 MX400 with 128MB 6ns SDR

As for identifying correct type of memory on the videocard, I suggest RivaTuner (http://www.nvworld.ru/downloads/rivatuner.zip), its "videocard info" module is under constant improvement.

Thanks for tip tip ND. Seems acurate to me.:)

Memory bus: 128-bit
Memory type: SDR
Memory amount: 32768KB

Well according to Riva tuner my MX400 64mb is

128 bit SDR 64mb RAM

and i was "told" by a friend that his older 32mb MX was in fact

64 bit DDR 32mb

--I May be wrong  , but hey nobofy's perfect...:D

Im sure you can put me right ND (Your knowledge of all things graphic's really is quite amazing:eek: , respect:) :)

There're few DDR 64bit "older" MXes - I remember Creative had one.
In addition I saw many MX200 DDR 64bit ...

As I said before - nowdays clocks speeds and bus widthes may vary ... here's another example : GeForce2 GTS with 32 MB SDRAM (maybe I'll find the pic lately)
